This is one of our classic projects where we work with the client over many years setting ourselves goals for each area of the home and budgeting accordingly. When you work in this manner you get to become close friends and have a complete understanding of the clients needs.

They have utilised all our serviced over the years, from curtains to lighting, upholstery to blinds, decorating to consultancy and renovating black beams. We’ve even helped them clean out the garage and de-clutter throughout. They are a prefect example of just how versatile we are.

This project was all about bringing together the client’s collections of artwork, ceramics and vintage pieces in contemporary way and allowed them all to shine. We brought in colourful wall finishes, bespoke upholstery, faux flowers, soft furnishings and styled throughout the home.

This amazing stately home provides the location for many high end parties and weddings, as well a being a prime destination for film shoots.

We supply the upholstery and soft furnishings throughout the house which is famous for its glamorous and eccentric style.

It was our vintage fabric archive and our collection of antique furniture that attracted us to this particular client. Our ability to provide  something with a little difference and the bespoke nature of our service had great appeal. They knew what they wanted, all we had to do was deliver beautifully restored and upholstered pieces that were designed around a selected range of our beautiful vintage materials and contemporary velvets.

We started this project supplying the decorative finishes to the ‘Super Room’ which involved lots of detailed silver gilding work and hand painting furniture. But the scale of this project soon expanded, as it often does, once the client becomes familiar with how many services we can provide and sees the quality of our work. We were asked to upholster furniture and create bespoke headboards, design and install the Roman blinds, provide all the silk panelling for the tailor made shelving units, make the day bed, and create bespoke sconce wall lights.

The client was often absent overseas but they were always confident that we would deliver to the brief.

This beautiful Oxfordshire home just needed the finishing touches in a few rooms, with a collection of depressing black beams sporadically thrown into the mix.

We injected the Master Bedroom with contemporary colour, wallpaper and fabrics, then hand-painted the wardrobe in a statement aubergine/magenta to give the very dominant beam a sparring partner and help redress the balance of this space.

In the dining room we eliminated the black beam above the fireplace with our special glazes, stripped back the orange varnish off the dining table and hand-painted it with a light grey glaze. With the introduction of new dining chairs and cushions the room was complete and transformed by just changing three elements.

We were approached by these clients because they loved our style and needed our bespoke service.  Having travelled overseas for many years they had never had the opportunity or the budget to invest in their own house. Now was the time to inject personality and drama into their home by providing unique statement pieces that they would be able to keep all their lives. We achieved their brief by sourcing antique pieces, designing statement lamps and chandeliers, supplying commissioned artwork, creating unique upholstery pieces using a combination of luxury contemporary fabrics mixed with our vintage collection, and also supplying statement mirrors which were hand gilded to specification. All this was styled by us using sourced accessories and faux flowers.

When I was given the brief “Give me colour and pattern and lots of it”, my heart leapt.

It isn’t often I am given the opportunity from a client to run completely a mock with every colour, pattern and texture in fabrics vintage and contemporary and to push the boundaries to the extreme.

The starting point was the Timorous Beastie wallpaper which although joyous was posing problems with it’s domination of the room and the client was struggling to find any balance.

From our extraordinary vintage archive we chose a gorgeous selection of fabric to make cushions that really packed some punch and then went on to completely style the room. All the bespoke ottoman, lampshades, buttoned seating, hand painted furniture, faux flowers, antique accessories were sourced and made by us, and the results were stunning.
